Donate $8 and help bring Miss J home!

Donate $8! Help bring Miss J home to her forever family!

PLEASE SHARE THIS PAGE LINK!!!

*** UPDATE ***

We serve an awesome and amazing God! And I so love Him and the body of Christ - who was willing to be a part of the process of helping this sweetie come home to her family!

Total donations so far:  $6,286

WOOOOHOOOOOOO!!!

I am going to leave the link up for a while in case anyone else is moved to give. I know the longer they wait for travel approval and the closer we get to spring/summer the higher the cost of airline tickets. And they still desire to take their boys along if possible.

May God heap blessings upon you all as you have blessed our dear friends!
THANK-YOU!!!!!!!!!

( We can't show her sweet face until they pass court. We are also being VERY discreet about using her name or her family's name so we do not jeopardize her adoption in any way.  )

There is a little girl who has spent her whole life - 8 years in an orphanage in Eastern Europe. She is beautiful. She is blind and she needs a forever family. Her name is Miss J. We have dear friends who are longing to welcome Miss J into their family as their precious daughter. They have saved and worked hard at fundraising. They made the first of two required trips to Eastern Europe and are now down to needing about $6,000 to complete her adoption and go bring her home.

Mr. & Mrs. W were resistant to this idea at first - because they imagined that the people who could donate would have already done that earlier in the process. They have no desire to pester anyone. But, I nagged and convinced them :) that from my point of view in situations like theirs many people would be THRILLED to be able to really help Miss J come home by sending only $8!

So many times I have come across situations where an adoptive family is thousands from their goal and since I am not in a position to send thousands - I pray for them and move on. But...if each of Mr. & Mrs. W's Facebook friends ( and anyone else who happens upon my blog or shares this link ) is able and willing to donate $8 ( or more ) - not only would they reach their goal of $6,000 - but they could have enough to bring their two sons on their trip to Eastern Europe. ( These boys have been praying for their sister for a year and REALLY hope to go along to get her! ) If the donations come in higher than these two goals - the rest could help cover the medical and therapy expenses they will incur when they bring her home.

( Please note that your donation will not be tax deductible. If you are interested in making a large donation that is tax deductible - please  email me for a separate donation page link. )

Along with donating would you join us in praying for the W family?

Here is Miss J's waiting forever family!

  • For Miss J to have peace as she waits for her forever family and for a smooth transition.
  • For safe travels when they bring her home.
  • For wisdom as they diligently work towards a healthy attachment with Miss J ( This process can be extra challenging when adopting an older child with special needs .) And for all of us who love them to be supportive of that process no matter what that looks like.
  • For God to provide for their every need: financial, emotional, physical and spiritual.
We have been the recipient of many financial gifts from the body of Christ in each of our 3 adoptions and believe me when I say this is one of the greatest gifts you can give! Adoption is an amazing, challenging miracle of a process and when we step forward in faith to bring one of these little ones into our family the financial barriers can seem at times - insurmountable. But...OUR GOD IS BIG! And He opens wide the doors of those who are following Him. We are blessed to witness the W family's heart for Jesus, for furthering His kingdom and for adoption.

Please feel free to share this link!

May you be blessed as you bless the W family!
